Having breast implants doesn’t mean you can skip mammograms.¹ They’re still the best tool we have for finding breast cancer early, when treatment is most effective.² ​ If you have implants, your technician may be able to take special views to bring more breast tissue into focus.¹,³ It’s a simple step that makes a big difference in what your radiologist can see.​ ​ National Mammography Day is a reminder for all women, with or without breast implants to make screening a priority from age 40.2 Mammography screening in the US, cuts the risk of dying from breast cancer nearly in half.⁴ ​ Early detection saves lives, save this post as a reminder!
